Matthew Castel, PhD
Matthew J. Castel is an assistant professor with the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management. He joins Boise State University after receiving his PhD in business administration with a focus on operations and sourcing management and marketing from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business, where he also received a master of science in manufacturing and engineering management. Castel also earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Michigan State’s College of Engineering. Castel is a member of the Decision Sciences Institute (SI), INFORMS, and the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), and he was an ad-hoc reviewer for the Decision Sciences Journal.
