Student Board Fellows

The Student Board Fellows Program offers exceptional undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and serve the community by sitting on a board of directors for a local nonprofit organization. This program promotes diversity in board service, helps local nonprofits build capacity to serve Millennials, and provides non-profit boards key business expertise – all while giving students an extraordinary hands-on learning experience.

“My experience as a Board Fellow has been overwhelmingly positive and worthwhile. As a graduate student, I wanted my volunteer time to have a high degree of impact and relevancy to my career path. As I’ve served on the board of the Idaho Nonprofit Center, I’ve been privileged to work alongside an organization that helps the entire state’s nonprofit business sector thrive. I highly recommend lending your time, talent and energy to serve as a Board Fellow.” ~ Emily Border, Student Board Fellow
