The concurrent JD and MBA program, offered in conjunction with the University of Idaho College of Law, allows students to earn both the JD and MBA degrees in four years rather than the usual five. Students in the concurrent program complete the first year of their JD at the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, Idaho, and then in years 2-4 take MBA courses at Boise State while also completing Law courses at the College of Law’s new Idaho Law and Justice Learning Center, located on the Capitol Mall between the State Capitol building and the Idaho Supreme Court, and across the street from the Idaho State Bar office.
- Students in the concurrent program must complete the first year of JD courses at the University of Idaho College of Law in Moscow, Idaho before starting MBA coursework at Boise State. MBA courses are taken in the evenings in the Professional MBA program.
- To comply with accreditation standards, the University of Idaho College of Law will not count credits earned in Boise State’s MBA program towards the JD degree unless such credits are taken after the student has completed their first year of law school.
