A student enrolled in the Concurrent Program may commence studies at either College, but no credits earned in the MSAT program prior to the completion of the first year of study in the College of Law will apply towards the JD degree. Courses taken as part of the first year of the MSAT Program are eligible to meet the requirements for receipt of the JD degree if the following course of study is followed. Exceptions to this course of study must be approved in writing by the Program Advisor.
The J.D./MSAT program has strict guidelines about the order in which classes must be taken, and the grades which must be earned, for law credits to count toward the MSAT and for accounting credits to count toward the JD. Students should follow program guidelines carefully and consult the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Executive Education for additional information.
