Candidate Profile

Boise State University MSA candidates possess a high degree of motivation and an aptitude for graduate study. Our MSA students have a strong background in accountancy.

An MSA candidate must:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a regionally accredited institution
  • Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or better
  • Hold a current CPA, CIA, or CMA license or achieve a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT

Students who do not possess an undergraduate degree in Accountancy are required to take the following undergraduate classes before they will be permitted to take graduate courses:

Boise State Online MSA candidates possess a high degree of motivation, an aptitude for graduate study and a strong background in accountancy and business. Candidates are REQUIRED to complete the 18 semester credits of upper-division accounting courses listed below AND at least 15 semester credits in other business courses as noted below.
