5 Reasons to Visit Career Services

According to the annual Gallup-Purdue Index Report, graduates who visited the university’s career center were most likely to be employed full time after college than those students who did not visit¹. Here are five reasons why you should make an appointment with COBE Career Services to talk to an advisor.

Maybe you’ve decided on a major, but you’re not sure what you want to do once you’ve got your degree. Explore your career options with a career adviser! We can help you evaluate a variety of factors including salary, job growth rates, and more.

2. Polish and tailor your resume and cover letter
Dust off that resume and bring it into Career Services. We can help you put your best foot forward when it comes to your job search. To schedule a resume review, stop by COBE Career Services in MBEB 1120.

It might be intimidating to meet with a career adviser if you aren’t sure of your future plans, or if your resume isn’t put together, but that’s the perfect time to make an appointment. We are easy to work with and are experts in the field.
