The Idaho Council on Economic Education is heading to Foxboro, Mass. this Wednesday (Dec. 4) to present its innovative global education program, the International Economic Summit, in Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. The summit features student teams representing over 100 countries that must apply economics in a realistic global competition, which teaches students the challenges of working in today’s complex global economy.
The Idaho Council is hosted jointly at Boise State University by the College of Business and Economics and the College of Education. The Foxboro event is being presented in partnership with the Massachusetts Council on Economic Education.
“Our entire country needs this program to help strengthen our global competitiveness,” COBE Dean Patrick Shannon said.
