The 2017 conference, presented by the Boise State University Accountancy department, has something for every accounting professional. The program will touch on a variety of topics and disciplines that are sure to provide meaningful updates and perspectives to attendees. Speakers will be discussing matters such as accounting, audit, tax, and reporting information that impacts both private and public companies. Further, the conference will provide the latest information and perspectives on other current business topics including ethics. Over 150 professionals attended in 2016, including CPAs, graduate students, and other interested professionals.
The Gem State Business and Accounting Conference will be held in the Micron Business and Economics Building in Skaggs Hall of Learning. Top national, regional and local speakers will be here to provide their insight on a variety of topics. Featured speakers include Drew McCandless from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Jeff Kummer from Deloitte Tax LLP, John Bernardo from Idaho Power Company, Mike Serio from Wells Fargo Private Bank, Wayne Rancourt from Boise Cascade Company, and Ralph Woodard from Blue Cross of Idaho.
