Bio
Thomas Gattiker, PhD, CFPIM, is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at Boise State University. Before obtaining his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia (2000), he held a variety of industry positions in operations and inventory management, most recently at Rockwell Automation/Reliance Electric. He is an officer of the Operations Management Division of the Academy of Management. He is certified at the Fellow level in production and inventory management (CFPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). He enjoys spending time with his family and participating in mountain sports. He serves on the board of the Southwest Idaho Mountain Biking Association.
