English and Math Placement Exams:
Students planning to enroll in English 101, 102 or certain Math classes are required to take a placement exam or have an acceptable ACT/SAT score. See the current "Schedule of Classes" for more information.

French, German, and Spanish Placement Exams:
Students planning to enroll in a French, German, or Spanish course who have any knowledge of the language are required to take a placement exam to ensure they are placed into the appropriate class.

Computer Placement Exams:
All business majors are required to take Computer Information Systems (CIS) 104 and 105 or pass the College of Business & Economics Computer Placement Exam for one or both classes.
CIS 104 is Word Processing Topics (MSWord)
CIS 105 is Spreadsheet Topics (MSExcel)
Students planning to major in Accountancy, Networking and Telecommunications, Computer Information Systems or Operations Management are required to also take CIS 106 or pass the COBE Computer Placement Exam.
