  • MBA Honors Track

The College of Business and Economics (COBE) has created the MBA Honors Track to help our best students grow their leadership skills and take their careers in whatever direction they want.

The Boise State MBA Honors Track Seminar provides select MBA students and elite MBA alumni the opportunity to immerse themselves in practical business situations and personal career issues, receive executive-level coaching from a personal coach and individual corporate mentoring support from the Treasure Valley’s top business leaders.  The 2010-2011 academic year was the first opportunity for the best MBA students or recent MBA graduates of Boise State to receive mentorship and executive development. Selection is limited to 10-12 participants this year.

Each participant will take part in three mandatory components:

  • One-on-one executive coaching sessions (1.5 hrs/mo)
  • Corporate mentoring (2 hrs/mo)
  • Peer-to-peer forums (9:30–3:30 on designated Saturdays each month from September to May)

There are two additional optional events (Guests may be invited):

  • Mid-term activity (January)
  • Final “graduation” dinner (May)

Participation requires that the details of every conversation be absolutely confidential. There is no grade given for this program and 100% participation in the program components is required. Membership in the MBA Honors Track is a privilege extended only to the best and brightest MBA students and Alumni. Failure to participate or lack of confidentiality will lead to removal from the program without a refund.
