Management Department breaks new record with 953 majors in its combined General Business, Entrepreneurship, and Human Resource Management BBA programs making the department one of the largest departments in the university in terms of majors.

A warm welcome to Anita Keeler, our new temporary administrative assistant. She has lots of experience as a home builder, librarian, and HR assistant (at Selkirk Metalbestos). She loves football and she is 4th generation Idahoan. She has rafted 10 Idaho rivers and has climbed Boulder Mountain.

Location in the New Business Building
The Management Department will be on the 2nd Floor on the South Side of the new Business Building next Fall. It will be located close to the Entrepreneurship and International Centers.
Textbook
Michael Bixby and Susan Park, of the Management Department in the College of Business and Economics, recently published the textbook “The Legal Environment of Business,” 5th edition, available through Pearson Custom Publishing. Their co-authors are Patrick Cihon, associate professor at Syracuse University, and Caryn Beck-Dudley, dean of the College of Business at Florida State University.
Meredith Taylor Black, Director of COBE’s International Business Programs, was recently selected to join the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office’s (TECO) Young Scholar and Expert Delegation to Taiwan this October. COBE Residential College
Eighteen freshmen from the COBE Residential College welcomed arriving students and parents on August 19th by service free coffee and acting as ambassadors for the College of Business and Economics. Students set up a display promoting the College of Business and Economics at the Student Recreation Center and distributed promotional materials and answered questions.
