Mr. Randy Hales will be a guest speaker in Sandy Gough’s GB 450 class on Thursday, September 3rd at 3:15 PM – room ILC 304. Randy has recently made a significant contribution to the new COBE building and we have invited him to speak with students and faculty. We have room for about 20 additional people to attend. Randy Hales is the CEO of Mity Enterprises, a global manufacturer of lightweight furniture systems. He is also a member of Pacific Enterprise Partners, LLC, Compliance Management Intellectual Property, LLC and a director of Compliance Management & Insight, Inc. In addition, Randy and his wife, Pamela own a private equity company, Blue Turf LLC.

Randy is the former CEO of Focus Electrics Group (a division of Focus Products Group). He was appointed to the position in 2007 when Focus Products acquired the kitchenware manufacturer, Back to Basics. He served in various positions with Back to Basics, including CEO, president, and CFO. Prior to joining the company, Randy was the CEO and president of First Scientific, general manager of operations with David Weekley Homes, and product director at Dal-Tile International.
