KK Lipsey, Consultant, K Lipsey Creative

An accidental entrepreneur, she has owned her marketing communications company for 14 years. KK studied Industrial Engineering at Stanford. Upon returning to the business world she worked for architecture and engineering firms in Seattle, then turned to consulting. Over time she relocated to Boise, where she believes, “The best of the creative and real people are here in Boise. “

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sidney Bateman, Executive Recruiter, TomRuff Co.

Graduated from Florida State University. She has been in the recruitment industry since 1999 and is currently an Executive Recruiter. She specializes in the placement of medical and pharmaceutical sales representatives.

 

 

 

 

Brenda Tanabe, Employment/Recognition Manager in Human Resources Department, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center

Has been with the hospital for 18 years . Brenda has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an MBA, both from Boise State University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lori Lewis, Senior Integrated Marketing & Comm. Leader for the Applications & Business Services Group, Hewlett-Packard Company

Earned a B.A. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Boise State University. In her current role she drives the outbound marketing strategy and execution for HP’s enterprise-focused services industry across a broad portfolio including HP Transformation Services, Business Services, Application Development and Outsourcing Services and Business Process Outsourcing. Her team drives the global strategy and execution of social marketing, awareness generation and thought leadership programs.

Darci graduated from Boise State University in 2002 with a BA in Communication and a minor in Spanish, and an MBA and Conflict Management Graduate Certificate in 2008.

Michelle graduated from Boise State University in 2001 with degrees in Psychology and Health Science.  With her degrees achieved, Michelle began her career with St. Luke’s, where as the Manager of Patient Access, she leads a staff of 120.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shannon Stoeger, Senior Vice President & Regional Manager, Idaho Independent Bank

Manages the Bank’s Boise River Office located in downtown Boise.  In addition, she oversees the management of eight Southern Idaho branches.  Shannon graduated from Boise State University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration.

Cathy heads  a privately owned management advisory company which specializes in creating the right strategy, structure, hiring and processes for companies to achieve growth successfully. Prior to founding Business Builders, Cathy was Vice President and General Manager of Sunrise Technologies, Inc.

Mark Heil, Corporate Controller, Micron

Graduated from Boise State University in 1985 with BBA degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems. In 1992 he went to work for Micron Technology, Inc. where he is Corporate Controller, responsible for Micron’s global accounting and financial reporting.

 

 

 

 

 

Elizabeth Pearson, Financial Analyst, Micron

Graduated in December 2004 from Boise State with a BBA in Finance and minor in Accountancy and an MBA in May 2010. She is five years into her professional career and has applied her accounting and finance skills in both the commercial real estate and technology industries.

Tyson BurkhartDirector of Client Services, Clearwater Analytics

Serves as one of two directors of Client Services. Tyson specifically oversees the division dedicated to product implementation and Insurance clients that follow GAAP/STAT/Tax accounting guidelines.

Andrew Kroes, Director of Client Services, Clearwater Analytics

Andrew specifically oversees the division dedicated to institutional and corporate cash clients that follow GAAP/Tax accounting guidelines. Andrew joined Clearwater in 2007 and has served in the past as both an Account Manager and Operations Manager. Andrew holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Northwest Nazarene University and will be sitting for the CFA level III exam in June 2012.

Brian Greber, Director –College of Business, Business Research & Economic Development Center

Joined the Boise State faculty in 2009 as Director of COBE’s Center for Business Research and Economic Development. He has 19 years of private sector experience in manufacturing management, market and economic research, product development, sales, marketing, technology development, strategic planning, and change management.

 

 

 

 

 

Nic Kawaguchi, Product Marketing and Management, Inovus Solar

Currently part of the marketing group with one of Boise’s premier technology companies, Inovus Solar. Nic moved to Idaho from Hawaii in 1998 to attend Boise State University. Nic holds a BA in Finance and an MBA from Boise State University.

A 22 year veteran of the Information Technology space and successful entrepreneur. He is a practiced business leader with general business management, mergers and acquisition, sales, marketing, product management and product development experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jay Hawkins, VP Backend Operations, President Micron Italy, Micron Japan, Micron Puerto Rico

He joined Micron in March 1984 as a Test P.C. operator and has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Manufacturing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Boise State University.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shane Hahn, Senior Vice-President, KeyBank

Received degrees in Marketing in 1990 and Finance in 1991 from Boise State University. Shane’s primary responsibility involves growing the client base for Business Banking in Idaho. Shane is based in Boise and manages a team of 10 Business Banking Relationship Managers and Senior Sales Associates in the Treasure Valley and across Eastern Idaho.

Has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field. She currently serves as HR Manager for Impac, a full-service professional consulting firm focused on Oracle technology. graduated with her BBA from Boise State. Alisa Bondurant, Business Solutions Specialist, State of Idaho

Applies over 20 years of marketing, sales, and client relations skills to your role as a Business Solutions Specialist with the Idaho Department of Labor. She is a member of Girls in Tech and the Idaho Technology Council Software Community and Collaboration Group

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mary Givens, Director of the Office of University and IndustryVentures, Boise State University

Supports research and intellectual property commercialization. During the last 11 years, Mary has been integral to Idaho economic development initiatives including Kickstand, Idaho Department of Commerce’sOffice of Science & Technology, and the Boise Angel Alliance and Fund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael Aston, Client Data Manager, Clearwater Analytics

Michael began at Clearwater Analytics as a Data Analyst in 2008.  Since receiving a Master’s in Business Administration from Boise State in 2010, he has been placed over his own team and now manages the company’s Client Data Group.  This team is responsible for all aspects of our client’s data in addition to all business intelligence for Clearwater Analytics.  In addition to his MBA Michael holds a B.S. in IO Psychology from Washington State University.
