In addition to the academic components of our curriculum, we connect theory to practice by assigning projects pertaining to ‘live’ companies. This proves to be mutually beneficial to the student and company representatives, as it allows students to prove their competences before graduation and to offer firms specialized research. We pride ourselves on the close relationship we keep with companies in this area as well as abroad.
If you are a small to medium sized firm, you have the opportunity to participate in some unique projects that the International Business Programs organize, annually. Through programs such as Export Excellence and the Heidelberg Project, we help local firms develop their international markets, create customized market entry plans, and help them increase sales.
Through the help of Boise State’s International Business Program and its international network, you will have access to many bright minds and enough resources to thoroughly research a potential market and obtain not only secondary data but also primary research through students and experts in that specific market.
We can also provide local firms with qualified interns who can become assets to your international business teams, and might be your firms next #1 recruit!
