COBE International Business Department

Study Abroad

Students who study abroad gain expertise about specific cultures, they gain a greater international perspective, and expand their international network of friends and colleagues.  All International Business majors are required to learn a foreign language, in addition to this we encourage them to travel to a country where it is commonly spoken so that they may become more fluent.

There are some spectacular study abroad opportunities available to our students, many of which can be financed using BSU financial aid.  Click here to explore the opportunities offered by the USAC.

For more information or to explore your study abroad opportunities please call the International Programs Office and speak with the Education Abroad Advisor.  They can be reached at 208.426.3652 or visit their website at http://international.boisestate.edu/

After your initial appointment with the International Programs Office and after you have decided on where to study. Please meet with your International Business advisor to help select the appropriate courses for your study abroad experience.  Students usually study abroad around their junior year, and courses they take in the foreign country can often be approved and transferred to fulfill their degree requirement, keeping them on track for graduation.
