Dr. Meredith Taylor Black to Participate in Delegation to Taipei

Meredith Taylor Black, Director of COBE’s International Business Programs, was recently selected to join the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office’s (TECO) Young Scholar and Expert Delegation to Taiwan this October. 

As a member of the delegation, she has been invited to visit various governmental agencies of Taiwan in the areas of national security, foreign affairs, cross-strait relations, international trade & economic affairs, education, health care, as well as to meet Taiwan political party leadership and policy-making scholars during a related seminar.  There will be sightseeing trips to, et al, the National Palace Museum and Taipei 101 Building.

As mentioned in Governor Otter’s Letter of Support for M. Taylor Black, “The mission of Boise State’s International Business Programs aligns with our state’s need for export market diversification and the resulting job growth. [Dr. Taylor-Black's] participation in the program will benefit BSU students and the Idaho and international companies served through BSU’s International Business Program.”
