Leon Maynard, President

The Executive Director and President of the Idaho Council, with offices at Boise State University, is Leon Maynard. Mr. Maynard has a 30 year career in international finance, economics and business. He earned his MBA in International Business from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management and his BA from Brigham Young University. He has held the following positions prior to joining the Idaho Council: Vice President, Chase Manhattan Bank; Vice President, Marketing GATX Capital Corporation; Chief Financial Officer Pacific Telesis International and Chief Executive Officer, Nextron Communications. He also launched and managed the Steven R. Covey Leadership Center-Idaho in 1990.
