- The economics of heath care, social security and the national debt
- The economics of education and the future of U.S. global competitiveness
- The practical financial challenges facing the rising generation
The University of Idaho maintains a field campus in McCall, Idaho. The campus is located within the boundaries of Ponderosa State Park on Payette Lake and provides a very cost effective setting for educational projects such as this summer institute. The Idaho Council on Economic Education and Boise State used the campus last summer as the setting for an economic education workshop for elementary and middle school teachers. Feedback from last year’s participating teachers, sponsors and facilitators were all very positive.
