About The Idaho Council

The Idaho Council is hosted by Boise State University and operates centers at the University of Idaho, Idaho State University and the College of Southern Idaho. This allows teachers throughout the entire state to have direct access to the programs, materials and training provided by the Idaho Council.

ICEE’s Mission Statement

The Idaho Council on Economic Education is a state-wide organization with responsibility for training K-12 teachers and students in the skills and principles of economics and personal financial management.

ICEE’s History

The Idaho Council on Economic Education was formed in 1971 as a 501c3 organization for the purpose of promoting and enhancing economic and financial education among Idaho’s students. The Council also formed and oversees the work of four university based Centers for Economic Education at Boise State University, Idaho State University, University of Idaho and the College of Southern Idaho. The Council and its Centers are a part of an extensive network of Councils and Centers spread across the United States.
