The International Business Program includes both a major and a minor degree program. We have designed the degrees to be challenging, and exciting and to prepare students for the fast-paced world of global business.

The minor degree includes courses in international business and social science. The major degree is more comprehensive and includes several parts:

• Six required international business courses, including an introductory course,  International Marketing, Economics, Finance and Management, and a trade-focused course;
                                                                                                                  

• Four social science courses - two in political science and two in history that link to the student's language area of choice;
   

• Proficiency in a language or two years of course work in a language at Boise State University is required
  

• Advanced language training, focused on business;
   
• A business focus area requirement;
   
• An international business experience, which may be a course, internship or other experience negotiated with an advisor
