- Electives in Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and International Business are regularly available.
- Engineering, Health Science, or Public Administration graduate programs electives may also be available to provide students the ability to craft a program of study most applicable to their needs.
- Coursework requirements may vary depending upon an applicant’s prior academic experience.
Candidate Profile
Boise State University MBA candidates possess a high degree of motivation, professional work experience, strong managerial potential, and an aptitude for graduate study. Our MBA students come from a broad range of diverse backgrounds, including engineering, social sciences, liberal arts, business, health, and others.
A typical MBA candidate will:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or better.
- Achieve a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT.
- Preferably have at least two years of significant work experience (waived with a GMAT score of 600).
- Have a GMAT quantitative score of at least 32, or a score of 60 or greater on the math placement exam.
