Candidate Profile

Boise State University MBA-ITM candidates possess a high degree of motivation, professional work experience, strong managerial potential, and an aptitude for graduate study.

The Boise State Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management is designed for professionals who have an undergraduate degree in a technical field, or for graduates of another field with professional experience who want to develop skills in managing technology and people.

A typical MBA-ITM candidate will:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
     
  • Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or better
     
  • Preferably have at least two years of significant work experience (waived with a GMAT score of 600)
     
  • Achieve a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT
     
  • Have a GMAT quantitative score of at least 32, or >60 on the math placement exam
