Is the deadline to submit application materials the absolute deadline?
The application deadline is a priority deadline for acceptance into the graduate business programs.
Applications will still be accepted after the deadline, but students may be required to wait until the following semester to begin classes.
The Business Graduate Studies office encourages all potential students to apply as early as possible
"Common" Deadlines:
Summer enrollment: March 1
Fall enrollment: June 1
Spring enrollment: October 1
Please note that application deadlines can vary for school years to adjust for non-working business days. Again, confirming the dates with the Business Graduate Studies office is recommended.
What should I do after I submit my application package?
ALL Graduate Business students are required to subscribe to the MBA-L Listserv as soon as their application has been turned in.
The MBA-L Listserv is an automated email group that the program administrators and faculty use to notify graduate students of class changes, social events, delays, or emergencies.
For instructions on joining the Listserv, follow
this link.
How many of my credits can be transferred from my current school?
Students currently enrolled in other graduate programs are usually eligible to transfer up to 9 credits that may apply toward their graduate degree at BSU. Transferring of credits is dependent on a variety of factors, including course content and grade received, and is determined on a case-by-case basis. Potential students should contact the Business Graduate Studies office at
(208)426-3116 for more information.
