Responsible for audit, tax and consulting services on various commercial and governmental clients.  Industry experience includes audits of low-income housing

            projects, local             government entities, and not-for-profit entities.

 

Provided consulting services to local CPA firms in preparation for On-site Peer Reviews, development of audit strategies for improving audit processes in specialized industries, and other related services.

Accounting Department Internship Coordinator   1991 - Present

 

Solicit and coordinate accounting internship opportunities for accounting students.  Work with 30 - 40 employers per year staffing various internship positions.

 

Work with students seeking internship opportunities by discussing career goals, reviewing resumes and coordinating student training activities with the BSU Career Placement center.

Appointed to the Quality Review Oversight Committee of Idaho State Board of Accountancy.  This committee performs oversight reviews of Peer Review Organizations and monitors firms that consistently fail to meet Professional Quality Control Standards.            1999-2002
