Originally from France, Regis Terpend has been a faculty member at Boise State University since August 2006. Regis holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Coventry University in the U.K., a MBA from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He has held positions as a marketing analyst at Solar Turbines (Caterpillar Corp.) in San Diego and as a project manager is an Internet startup in Paris (France). Regis was a business instructor for three years in Shanghai (China), teaching various MBA classes for Napier University (Scotland) and undergraduate classes for University of Western Sydney. At Boise State, he teaches SCM 345 and SCM 380. Regis' research interests include buyer-supplier relationships, purchasing strategy and negotiation. He has recently published two articles in the Journal of Supply Chain Management and has presented at a number of conferences including the ISM annual North American Research and Teaching Symposium (NARTS) on Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, and the Decision Sciences Annual Conference.
