Project manager – Manager of $1.5 million USAID funded project to help strengthen the NEU Business School, through development/delivery of a distance learning program, support to senior management, development of a regional university network, and development/delivery of courses/executive programs for Vietnamese managers and for an English Language MBA program.

On site Boise State Professor of Management -- Taught courses in Management of Change in Organizations and Strategic Management as part Boise State University's MBA in Vietnam program, which is part of a Sida (Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency) funded project to build a business school and Management Training Centre at the National Economics University (Hanoi, Vietnam).  Supported development and implementation of domestic and international MBA programs, research/consulting and training programs, and external affairs for the Management Training Centre. 

 

Fall 1986 to present -- BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY

 

1995-present: Professor of International Business; Executive Director, Global Business Consortium-- teach courses in strategic management, international business; oversee growth and management of International Business major and minors programs, which comprise nearly 200 undergraduate students.

 

1994-1999:  Director, Boise State’s Vietnam MBA Program -- managed Boise State’s involvement as degree granting institution for a Swedish funded (total $3.5 million project) program to deliver an MBA program at National Economics University (Hanoi, Vietnam) and help build a graduate business school.

 

1994-1995: Associate Dean, Student and Academic Affairs -- oversaw Undergraduate, Graduate, and International Business programs, as well as Research and Contracts for the College of Business; taught courses in strategic management and introduction to business.

 

1990-1993: Department Chairman and Professor of Management -- administered department of 12 full time and 8 adjunct professors of management, legal environment, organizational behavior and theory, entrepreneurship, and human resource management; taught undergraduate and graduate courses in strategic management, international business and business in a global society.

 

1986-1990: Associate Professor of Management -- taught undergraduate and graduate courses in strategic management and international business.

Visiting Professor: Organized and coordinated a 12-week, four part workshop on Training-the-Trainer; co-taught a course on International Business in Vietnam; organized and coordinated 10 professors who oversaw 16-week long research projects in Vietnam.
