Message from the Dean     Our Mission     Strategic Plan (2007-2012)   Welcome to the College of Business and Economics! I am honored to serve as Interim Dean until the search for a permanent dean is completed. In the meantime, be assured that the College will continue to uphold and enhance its reputation as Idaho’s leading business school. Accredited at the undergraduate and graduate levels by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-International), the College of Business & Economics (COBE) is among only 35 percent of accredited business schools in the country. AACSB-International accreditation benefits students, employers, and the public, as well as schools and programs. The COBE offers degree programs in a variety of business disciplines supplemented by internship and career opportunities from a wide variety of local industries, many of them headquarters of major corporations. Less than a mile from the center of our vibrant capitol city, COBE students are provided with exceptional opportunities to learn in the heart of business and government. In 2006, COBE launched a very unique and highly successful Executive MBA program. We have received a generous donation that will launch the construction of a brand new business building to be located at Capitol Boulevard and University Drive, providing a gateway to the university. The College of Business is on its way to becoming one of the Northwest’s premier accredited business schools.
