The Creative Edge Speaker and Workshop Series – Innovation on the Creative Edge

Since 2005, the Centre has held yearly workshops on creativity and innovation.  In 2010, the Centre will begin The Creative Edge Speaker and Workshop Series.  The first speaker and workshop leader was Dan Roam, author of Back of the Napkin, which helps people learn to present complex ideas in visual form.  Roam spoke at a breakfast, open to the public, and conducted an all day workshop for sponsoring organizations.

Creativity Summit
a look at the Creativity Index of the city of Boise

The workshop was designed to bring community leaders and students together to share the students’ research findings. Student teams worked together on their research measuring the Creativity Index in Boise.

2006 Creativity Workshop
On October 12 & 13 the 2006 Creativity Workshop was held in the Farnsworth Room in the Student Union Building at Boise State University.

Min Basadur introduced the Simplex method of problem solving to several groups representing their companies. The participants spent two days working on solutions to problems specific to their companies.
