A graduate assistantship (GA) is a wonderful opportunity to work with various departments within the College of Business and Economics (COBE), or anywhere on campus, while working toward a graduate degree. COBE graduate assistants will work in one or more areas which may include:
- Academic research and support for faculty
- Tutor undergraduate students
- Teach undergraduate classes
- Support for event coordination and/or marketing COBE through the Graduate Business Studies Office
- Support the efforts of the one of our Centers of Excellence
February 15 Deadline: COBE offers a limited number of GA positions for students enrolled in the Career Start MBA Program (Boise State’s full-time MBA program). To be eligible to accept an award, candidates must start the application process by February 15.
The GA waives all tuition and fees and pays a stipend of approximately $9,000 for the academic year, and requires 20 hours work per week throughout the semester. Contracts are not automatically renewed, but students may apply for a second year.
