The Vision of the Center is Idaho being nationally recognized as a leader among states in quality of life and in attracting, retaining, and growing businesses.

The Mission of the Center is to deliver economic value by mobilizing the College’s independent and diverse resources to address the challenges, problems and opportunities of Idaho’s businesses and policy makers.

We serve businesses and public enterprises that (a) provide for growth in the state economy, (b) require independent assistance on specific projects, (c) look to build upon the unique competencies of the College, and (d) commit to interact with COBE in a manner that provides 2 way value.

Our clients efficiently identify unbiased, creative, and viable options to their business, organizational, and policy challenges. In addition, COBE’s students and faculty enhance their current and future contributions through active networking with a diverse set of decision-makers.
