TechLaunch 9.0 held May 15-16 in Boise is an annual contest that draws entrepreneurs and students from around the Intermountain West to compete in four categories. The team of Brian Campbell and Eric Lindsay, both MBA students from Boise State University, won the Idaho Ideas to Market (I2M) event for their evaluation of the market viability of an Idaho National Laboratory patented technology.
In its ninth year, TechLaunch is designed to educate and provide a stage for entrepreneurs and students to practice and hone their business pitch in front of the business community.
The other events in the competition are Entrepreneurial Idol—financing pitch competition for new products or services; Next Gen—a student business plan competition; and Crowd Pitch—a two-minute elevator pitch competition.
