Faculty Spotlight – Meredith Taylor

Dr. Meredith Anne Taylor, newly appointed Director of International Business Programs for the College of Business and Economics, recently completed the professional course New Frontiers in Agricultural Trade Regulation with the United Nations’ Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Dr. Taylor commented, “participation in such programs allows us to be connected to leading practitioners and to access quality information. Consequently, we are able to stay current in our curriculum and in our advisory roles as we engage policymakers and firms. In a unique digital community, professionals were able to discuss the most pressing issues in global agricultural trade. Learning with representatives from the EC, FAO, and being mentored by a previous WTO panelist and negotiator have proven invaluable. A related Brown Bag seminar will be offered in the spring on the outcomes of the program.”
