Half-Million Dollar Gift to Help Fund New COBE Building

Boise State University has received a $500,000 commitment from a local business owner, John D. Jackson, to help construct the new College of Business and Economics building.

Brandt Lecture to be Rebroadcast on KTVB

The Oct. 19 Brandt Lecture by David Walker — chief auditor for the U.S. government until 2008 — will be broadcast at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, on KTVB Channel 7, and then replayed seven times on 24/7, KTVB’s cable station.

Thanks to the generosity of many local companies and business leaders, the 13th Annual Friends and Alumni Golf Tournament raised significant money for COBE student scholarships and faculty awards.
