Dates and Locations

January 12-13, 2009: Conference Sessions at the Boise Centre on the Grove

January 14, 2009: Energy Entrepreneur Showcase at the Fulton Street Theatre

There will be a particular focus in three areas:

  • Impact, trends and applications to the American Northwest;
  • Highlights and discussion of innovation in the energy sector, as new technology, resources and ideas emerge;
  • The marriage of venture capital, technology transfer and public investment as we grow a new generation of energy entrepreneurs.

The conference is intended to leverage the growing stature of the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West as an international economic force and to bring further stature and engagement to the area’s potential for growth in the energy arena.

A principal goal of the conference is to develop an improved regional collaboration among stakeholders, public and private, on energy challenges and to harness the power of breakthrough thinking and initiatives to create needed solutions. From this, senior leadership in the public and private sectors can crystallize a future vision of alternative energy development.
