Our meeting this Wednesday, February 1st, will be held at 4:30pm in the SUB Barnwell Room.

All meetings begin at 4:30 in the evening and require Business Casual Attire. Refreshments will be served.

Our Taco Bar Social (yes- there is free food!) will be held in the BSU SUB in Simplot B from 4:30-6:00pm. This informational meeting will provide you with all of the highlights of Beta Alpha Psi, the benefits, a chance to network with peers, officers and faculty as well as  the information you need to join. We look forward to seeing you there!

The fall semester of Beta Alpha Psi at Boise State University has wrapped up with the election of new officers. Congratulations to the new officer team that will take into effect for the spring semester of 2012.

Along with the new officer team, the new meeting time will be Wednesdays from 4:30 pm -6:00 pm. All meetings will take place on campus. The officer team looks forward to a new and bright semester.

To help wrap up Beta Alpha Psi and enjoy the semester, we are going to have a relaxing evening in the SUB. We also wanted to give a chance to any member who is interested in becoming an officer, a chance to ask any questions they may have.

What: Bowling, pool and other games, and Subway subs!

The fun activity will be an excuse to take a break from studying and have some much needed fun and relaxation.  The activity is not considered a professional meeting, but we hope that everyone will come by for bowling and sandwiches!

This Wednesday, October 19^th is our final firm visit of the semester! We will be visiting Cooper Norman.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm for the entire BAP group (no extra half hour for networking beforehand, no separate groups A & B).

Cooper Norman is bringing in a special speaker for our meeting—Denise McClure who is a certified fraud examiner. There will also be representatives from Cooper Norman to tell us more about their firm. Please dress business casual.

 Cooper Norman’s offices are located in the Washington Group Plaza off of Park Boulevard (across from the Ram Restaurant). The meeting will be held in a conference room on the first floor of the plaza. Cooper Norman will have signs and/or members of the firm to direct us where to go upon entering the building. It has been suggested that we park on the south side of the Washington Group parking lot and enter through the center/main doors of the building.

This Wednesday, October 12^th we will visit Ripley Doorn and Harris & Co.  Please dress business casual. Both of these firms are about a 20 to 25 minute drive from campus. Additionally, as it will be rush hour traffic, please allow plenty of commuting time. The distance between Ripley Doorn and Harris & Co. is approximately 10 minutes, so please make your transition between firms as safely and as quickly as possible. Attached are maps to each firm.

Group #A will be visiting Ripley Doorn first. Group #B will be visiting Harris & Co. first. Hopefully everyone is familiar with the process; just remember to sign-in at each location and to wear your name tags.
