Beta Alpha Psi Takes Second Place in Regional Competition

On April 4, 2009, a team from Boise State University’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, a national professional, service, and honorary organization, competed at the Regional meeting in Seattle, Washington, in the category of Best Practices- Service Learning.

Our team, composed of James Bird, Nick Fugal, and Kristina Churikova, came in second place and received a donation from the National organization for $250. The judges included a partner from Moss Adams CPA Firm and faculty members from other universities. Bird, Fugal and Churikova presented their work on a zero-based Budgeting project with the Idaho State Police Department. The work on this project is ongoing.

I found this website and read your article. I am a new student this Fall and want to get a BA in accountancy/finance. Your website is awesome! The information about the resources available to students in the library is fantastic! I hope to connect with someone who will show me around the Boise campus.
